What Data We Collect

Email address. If you choose to unlock your DSCR result by submitting your email, we collect and store that address for the purpose of sending you the welcome email described at the point of collection.

Calculator inputs. The numbers you enter into the calculator are processed entirely in your browser. They are never transmitted to our servers.

Usage analytics. We may use Vercel Analytics or a similar privacy-respecting analytics service to collect aggregate, anonymized data on page visits and feature usage. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

Cookies. We use a localStorage key ("dscr_gate_cleared") to remember whether you have previously submitted your email so that you do not see the gate again on return visits. This is stored in your browser only — not on our servers.

How We Use Your Data

Email addresses are used solely to send the transactional welcome email triggered by your submission. We do not send marketing emails beyond what you were informed of at the point of collection without explicit consent.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

Resend. We use Resend to deliver transactional email. When you submit your email address, it is transmitted to Resend's servers for delivery. Resend's privacy policy governs their handling of this data.

Google AdSense. This site may display advertising through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.

Vercel. This site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel collects standard server log data (IP address, browser type, referring URL) as part of normal hosting operations.

Cookie Disclosure

This site uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to store one preference: whether you have previously unlocked your DSCR result. No tracking cookies are set by this site directly. Third-party services (Google AdSense, Vercel) may set their own cookies per their respective privacy policies.

Data Retention and Deletion

Email addresses are retained until you request deletion. To request that your email be removed from our records, send a message through the contact page with the subject "Delete my data" and the email address you wish to have removed. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Unsubscribe

To stop receiving emails from Calculate DSCR, reply to any email with the word STOP, or send a deletion request via the contact page.
